As one of the oldest chambers in the GCC, Qatar Chamber continues to play a pivotal role as a key driver of the national economy and a facilitator of a thriving business environment, in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030. Established in 1963 by virtue of Law No. (4), the Chamber’s primary role is to organise business interests and represent the Qatari private sector both locally and internationally. It actively supports the country’s economic actors and enhances productivity, contributing to the stimulation of trade activity, the expansion of the investment base, and the formulation of economic policies that foster comprehensive and sustainable growth across the nation. Furthermore, it works to promote the investment climate and opportunities within the state and reinforce Qatar’s position as a global leader in investment, business, and trade.

Under the leadership of H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al Thani, Chairman, Qatar Chamber strives to achieve international leadership among the world’s chambers of commerce, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the country’s aspirations for sustainable economic growth.

It aims to remain fully informed and knowledgeable about all issues related to the business community, both in Qatar and globally. The Chamber also strives to be the primary point of contact for international institutions and organisations seeking information and data about the Qatari business environment and how to conduct business in one of the world’s most dynamic and rapidly growing economies.
