Delhi government has decided that private schools in Delhi must allow Covid orphans to continue education till the end of the academic year.

Delhi Government has decided that private schools in Delhi must allow Covid orphans to continue education till the end of the academic year. The state government will work out the fee payment structure and the scheme for further education of these children. As per Women and Child Development Department, around 5,500 children lost either or both of their parents ever since Covid-19 struck Delhi. The department has identified 268 children who have been orphaned during the pandemic.
