Prisco's Top 100 NFL free agents for 2026: Market light on big-name talent, but some stars to be had
CBSN
Pete Prisco ranks the top 100 players who could be available on the free agent market
The New England Patriots did a great job with free agency in 2025, and it helped them get to the Super Bowl.
Those types of situations are rare.
The market usually isn't flush with talent and instead is littered with older players on the decline, who just aren't what their names say they are anymore.
The NFL's 2026 free agent class is no different. There isn't a lot of marquee talent for teams in need, very little in fact.
What this class does have is veterans who have been big-time players in the past who can help teams for a year or two. There are guys like edge players Von Miller and Khalil Mack, tight end Dallas Goedert, defensive lineman Calais Campbell and linebacker Bobby Wagner. At times, they've been stars. But now what do you get and how much do you pay?
