Doha, Qatar: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani received today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly Republic of Turkiye HE Hakan Fidan.

During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them.

They also discussed developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Syria, in addition to a number of issues of common interest.

During the meeting, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the need to intensify regional and international efforts to end the brutal war on the Gaza Strip, ensure the sustainable and unhindered flow of humanitarian aid to the Strip, and release of prisoners and detainees.

His Excellency also affirmed the State of Qatar's full support for all good efforts aimed at settling the Palestinian issue through peaceful means and implementing the two-state solution.
