Dublin: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Wednesday with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Minister for Defense of the Republic of Ireland HE Simon Harris.
The meeting discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, particularly in the diplomatic, economic, trade, and investment fields, as well as energy, technology, artificial intelligence, and small and medium-sized enterprises. It also discussed the developments in the region, particularly in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs voiced the State of Qatar and the Arab peoples' appreciation for the Republic of Ireland's positions on the Palestinian issue, particularly its recognition of the State of Palestine, stressing that Ireland represents a model of peace and reconciliation in the world.
