PM praises Qatar's first lung transplant surgery as remarkable achievement

Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani visited  Hamad Medical Corporation’s Surgical Speciality Centre yesterday, to check on the health of a Qatari citizen who was the first in Qatar to receive a lung transplant back in June, which was successful, and to meet the medical team that carried out the operation. 

H E the Prime Minister congratulated the medical team that carried out the operation, including surgeons, doctors and medical assistant technicians.
