Pistons’ Malik Beasley takes another shot at Knicks ahead of critical Game 6
NY Post
DETROIT — Malik Beasley has gone out of his way to troll the Knicks throughout their first-round series with the Pistons.
In terms of how it affects the Knicks and their mentality, he believes it provides the Pistons an important advantage.
“Mental battle, coach has been preaching this whole year,” Beasley said Thursday morning at shoot around before Game 6.
“We’ve gotta be mentally stronger than everybody. I think we are that mentally stronger team.”
After the Knicks’ 106-103 Game 5 loss at Madison Square Garden, Beasley poked fun at Mikal Bridges on X.
In response to a Knicks fan posting that “Mikal going for 44 Thursday,” Beasley wrote “Minutes?” in a quote tweet, along with a laughing emoji.

Suddenly, someone had hit a rewind button and everyone had been transported back seven months. It was early spring instead of late fall, it was broiling hot outside the arena walls and not freezing cold. Everyone was back at TD Garden. There were 19,156 frenzied fans on their feet begging for blood, poised for the kill.
