Doha, Qatar: Pakistan International School Qatar (PISQ) hosted Dr. Ahmad Javaid, the esteemed CEO of Cytellite and a leading expert in cybersecurity, for a series of transformative awareness sessions.
His visit marked a significant step forward in equipping students with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
The session aimed at educating students on the importance of cybersecurity and the risks associated with digital platforms, teaching practical methods to safeguard personal data and online behaviour, encouraging students to question, reflect, and understand the implications of online activities and equipping young learners, especially girls, with the confidence to handle digital challenges independently and intelligently.
Under the leadership of Principal Chaudhary Mohammad Afzal, the Girls’ Wing hosted Dr. Javaid in an interactive and engaging session with senior students. Rather than a traditional lecture, Dr. Javaid led a thought-provoking Q&A format that turned the session into a vibrant dialogue.
Students were encouraged to ask questions about topics such as online privacy and digital footprints, social media safety, cyberbullying and its consequences, common online scams and how to avoid them and password security and responsible digital behavior.
