Doha, Qatar: HE Dr. Mariam Ali Abdul Malik, Managing Director of the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), officially launched the Periodic Occupational Health Assessment Program for employees from various administrative, medical, technical, and nursing departments. The program was launched at the Staff Clinic located in PHCC’s Headquarter, Tower (2).
This program offers employees the opportunity for early detection of occupational diseases through medical testing, with assessments scheduled every three years to ensure employees’ health and fitness for duty.
The clinic’s opening was attended by Mr. Musallam Mubarak Al Nabit, Assistant Managing Director; Dr. Samya Ahmad Al Abdulla, Executive Director of Operations; Dr. Maryam Abdulla Al Muslemani, Director of Occupational Health and Safety; along with Dr. Zuleikha Al Wahedi, Dr. Hanan Al Mujalli, Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Ali, the clinic’s physicians, and members of the Occupational Health and Safety team.
In her speech during the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Mariam Ali Abdul Malik stated:
“We are pleased to launch the Periodic Occupational Health Assessment Program for our staff across all sectors. The health and safety of our employees are at the core of our values and operations. In line with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the National Health Strategy, we take pride in launching this program, which demonstrates our firm commitment to fostering a safe and healthy work environment and contributes to the broader national goals of public health promotion and sustainable human development.
