PHCC celebrates Family Doctor Day

The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) celebrated the World Family Doctor Day under the slogan 'Building the Future with Family Doctors'. This day, which falls on May 19 every year, aims to celebrate the efforts of family doctors, highlight their role in community service, and shed light on family medicine, which is one of the most important specialties that deals with comprehensive health care for all family members. The Primary Health Care Corporation participated in celebrating this day by publishing cards on social media highlighting the four axes of the World Family Doctor Day 2021, the most important of which is building the future with family doctors and primary care staff, as family doctors are often the first point of contact for patients in combating epidemics, as well as caring for people suffering from chronic diseases and the need to follow preventive measures. The Primary Health Care Corporation praised the essential role of family doctors in providing comprehensive and continuous health care to all patients, and emphasised the need to build a future with them by providing continuous and comprehensive care, which is the second axis, as family doctors build mutual trust with patients and society, as one of the four aforementioned axes, by filling the existing gaps in health care that is provided every day, while family doctors provide continuous and comprehensive care to those who need it most.
