After the fresh hike, a litre of petrol in Delhi costs Rs 90.99, up from Rs 90.74 a day ago. In Mumbai, the price of petrol has been hiked by 22 paise to Rs 97.34 per litre. Diesel rates have also been hiked sharply across many cities.
Fuel prices were hiked by state-run oil marketing companies on Thursday as the global crude oil outlook continues to improve. Today’s rise is the sharpest in the past three days of fuel price hike as petrol became costlier by 22-27 paise per litre, while diesel’s retail price rose by 28-30 paise. After the fresh hike, a litre of petrol in Delhi costs Rs 90.99, up from Rs 90.74 a day ago. In Mumbai, the price of petrol has been hiked by 22 paise to Rs 97.34 per litre. Major cities like Kolkata (Rs 91.14), Chennai (Rs 92.97), Bengaluru (Rs 94.01) and Hyderabad (Rs 94.57) have also seen a sharp rise.More Related News
