The comedian disclosed his paltry pay on the NBC show when asked about something else.
Pete Davidson’s revelation of how much he made per show on “Saturday Night Live” might make you cry instead of laugh for the comedian. In a New York Magazine video posted Wednesday (watch it below), Davidson noted offhand that he was paid $3,000.
The clip featured “SNL” stars new and old recalling what they splurged on after receiving their first paycheck from the NBC sketch-comedy show. But Davidson, a cast member from 2014 to 2022, disclosed a bit more.
“Do you guys know what they pay us?” Davidson said. “It’s like three grand an episode. I think I got dinner.”
It should be noted Davidson may have been estimating just his first-year rate which probably bumped up over the years.
