On the last day of the first phase of the ongoing Budget Session, the Lok Sabha is scheduled to take up obituary references, questions and key government business on Friday (February 13, 2026), as per the List of Business.
The Lok Sabha on Thursday passed ‘The Industrial Relations Code (Amendment) Bill, 2026’ after hours of discussions. The Bill seeks to amend the Industrial Relations Code, 2020.
The House has been witnessing disruptions since February 2, after Mr. Gandhi was prevented by the chair from quoting from an article based on excerpts from former Army chief M.M. Naravane’s “unpublished memoir,” which includes references to the India-China conflict of 2020.

The first half of the Budget Session is likely to conclude today. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will not preside over the business of the House until the Opposition’s notice for a motion seeking his removal is disposed of, sources said on Tuesday (February 10, 2026), citing “moral grounds” for the decision.
