Ramallah: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the international condemnations of the demolition of homes and the displacement of Palestinian citizens, and the international calls for the Israeli occupation government to stop these violations immediately, as a crime against humanity, and to fulfill its obligations as an occupying power under international humanitarian law.
In a statement, the Ministry referred to the explicit condemnations and demands announced by the European Union, and the invitation extended by the United Nations in this regard by the Deputy Spokesman for the Secretary-General Farhan Haq, following the tangible escalation of house demolitions. The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned house demolitions describing it as a war crime and a crime against humanity, holding the occupying government fully and directly responsible for this crime, its consequences, and repercussions, not only on security and stability in the region, but on the chances of achieving peace and implementing the principle of the two-state solution.More Related News
