A number of Republicans spoke out against the president's "big, beautiful bill," only to turn around and vote for it anyway.
It’s not just Democrats who are up in arms over President Donald Trump’s “big beautiful bill,” which passed the House on Thursday and is set to be signed on Friday.
Many Republicans oppose it, too.
At least they did at first, publicly trashing it for adding trillions to the national debt without significant spending cuts.
The opposition caused the bill to stall in the House on Wednesday, but most of the holdouts caved, and nearly every Republican who criticized the bill voted for it anyway.
