A Manhattan man who founded a nonprofit group to fight child sex abuse was hit with a hefty prison sentence Tuesday — for molesting a 15-year-old boy and collecting child porn.
Joel Davis, 25, was sentenced to 13 years behind bars after admitting to using an online dating app to entice a teen to meet up with him for sex in 2018, according to the US Attorney’s Office in Manhattan. Davis, who launched a nonprofit called Youth to End Sexual Violence, pleaded guilty in January to engaging in sex with a child and possession and disseminating child pornography.More Related News
