A notorious Saskatoon voyeur has been arrested for breaching the conditions of his release the very day he was let out of custody.
The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) arrested Kyle Hameluck, 37, at approximately 7 p.m. Saturday at the 200 block of 1st Avenue South.
Police issued a rare public alert about Hameluck's release just days before. He was previously convicted of 70 incidents of voyeurism, indecent acts and trespassing at night.
Several court-imposed conditions had been set for the Saskatoon man.
Police said he must remain inside an approved residence between the hours of 9 p.m. CST and 6 a.m. He could not possess drugs unless prescribed by a doctor, and could not try to contact his past victims directly or indirectly.
Hameluck was also prohibited from possessing or using cellphones or any device that can take photos or record videos.
SPS have not disclosed which of these conditions Hameluck breached.
In 2020, Hameluck pleaded guilty to 38 counts of voyeurism involving 25 women. Those offences were committed while he was on probation for voyeurism and indecent assault convictions from 2017.
Last fall, he pleaded guilty to 25 more charges stemming from incidents in late 2024 and early 2025, when he secretly filmed and took photos of a variety of women on the east side of the city through bedroom, bathroom and living room windows at night, recording them in various stages of undress.
Hameluck was sentenced in early October 2025 to just under three years in custody for these latest crimes, but with credit for time served, that term was expected to be reduced to about seven months.
Once again in custody, the Saskatoon man is set to appear in provincial court Tuesday.
