Noida: Dejected homebuyers blame builders for project delays, ask PM Modi to intervene

Homebuyers in Noida are upset with builders for using the pandemic as an excuse to delay projects. After seeking help from the state government, they have now urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene.

Nearly one lakh homebuyers across the National Capital Region (NCR) are awaiting possession of the flats/houses for many years. Many of these homebuyers have been waiting for a decade. These homebuyers are upset with real estate developers and builders as project completion dates have been delayed further due to the pandemic in 2020. They feel that the realtors and builders are taking advantage of the situation and delaying possessions deliberately.
