Nikki Glaser Reveals Trump Punchline That Didn't Make It To The Golden Globes

The comedian told radio legend Howard Stern what jokes got canned and why during Tuesday's episode of his show.
Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser didn’t think bits about President Donald Trump would land at her big party in Hollywood last weekend.
On Tuesday, the comedian talked about striking out the “right tone” for the event during a post-event interview with radio icon Howard Stern, detailed by Entertainment Weekly. In it, she explained why several quips about politics didn’t make it in her monologue.
Glaser said she passed on a joke that comedy legend Steve Martin offered her, opting not to mock the recent renaming of the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., by telling the awards show’s attendees they were enjoying an evening at the “Trump Beverly Hilton.”
Explaining why it got the ax, she said, “It was like, you just don’t say that guy’s name right now. I just want to give it space.”
Another punchline that got left on the cutting room floor was about Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.
