Nets’ Bojan Bogdanovic out for season with injury that ruins buyout chances
NY Post
Nets wing Bojan Bogdanovic will have foot surgery and miss the rest of the season.
The news, first reported by ESPN and confirmed by The Post, means Bogdanovic will not appear for Brooklyn all season, and now is also not likely to be a buyout candidate.
He hasn’t played since last April 28 when he was with the Knicks in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Bogdanovic suffered a left foot injury during Game 4 of the Knicks’ series win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
He had already been suffering from a wrist injury, and had surgery to repair both.
After the surgery, Bogdanovic was included as salary filler in the Mikal Bridges trade that sent the latter to the Knicks and brought a record-tying five first-round picks to Brooklyn.

Suddenly, someone had hit a rewind button and everyone had been transported back seven months. It was early spring instead of late fall, it was broiling hot outside the arena walls and not freezing cold. Everyone was back at TD Garden. There were 19,156 frenzied fans on their feet begging for blood, poised for the kill.
