Doha, Qatar: The 10-day Indian Mango Festival (Indian Hamba), which began on May 30 at Souq Waqif, has attracted mango lovers from all across the country.
On its fifth day, a total of 57,250 kilos of mango types were sold. On its social media accounts, Souq Waqif released the sales figure since the exhibition opened:
Day 1 - 8,500kg Day 2 - 13,000kg Day 3 - 15,000kg Day 4 - 11,900kg Day 5 - 8,850kg
60 participating companies sell a variety of mangoes, including Alphonso, Kesar, Banganapalli, Totapuri, Neelam, Mallika, Malgova, and Langada. Mango jams, juices, ice creams, and other mango-based dishes are available.
The exhibition welcomes visitors from 4pm to 9pm.
