
MS NOW Anchor Warns Of ‘Dangerous Normalization’ Of A Troubling Donald Trump Pattern

It should be no laughing matter, said Ali Velshi.
Ali Velshi warned this weekend that people should “resist the temptation to laugh” at footage showing President Donald Trump appearing to fall asleep during public events.
It may be tempting, Velshi admitted, because “there are so many alarming behaviors being normalized in the second era of Donald Trump and so few lighthearted moments in politics.”
But the clips are “not normal,” he cautioned.
The MS NOW anchor pointed out that Trump has seemed to nod off in public multiple times in recent weeks and then lashed out at a report by The New York Times that questioned his energy.
The White House and Trump’s allies try to downplay the incidents and queries on the president’s health, and attack those who bring it up, he said.
