Rabat: The Moroccan Ministry of Tourism announced Monday that the country welcomed a record number of tourists, reaching 19.8 million in 2025, a 14 percent increase over the previous year.
Tourism constitutes approximately 7 percent of Morocco's GDP and is a major source of employment and foreign currency.
The ministry stated in a press release that tourism revenues reached dirham124 billion, equivalent to $13.5 billion, during the period from January to November 2025, a 19 percent year-on-year increase.
Morocco aims to attract 26 million tourists by 2030.
