More than 50 lakh investors joined NSE platform in less than 4 months of FY22

There has been a sharp rise in the number of investor registrations on the National Stock Exchange in FY22. More than 50 lakh investors have registered on the leading stock exchange platform.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday said the number of new investor registrations on its platform crossed 50 lakh in less than four months of the current fiscal year. The new investor registrations saw a 2.5 times growth on a year-on-year basis in the first four months of FY22, according to a statement put out by the exchange.
