MoPH reports 973 new Covid-19 cases, 559 recoveries

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported on Monday 973 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19). 740 of these are from community cases and 233 from travellers returning from abroad. The MoPH recorded 559 recoveries from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 170,194. The ministry reported 2 new deaths for people aged 43 and 70, one of them had a history of chronic disease and were receiving the necessary medical care.
