MoPH reports 827 new Covid-19 cases and nine deaths

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported today 827 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19). 579 of these were from community cases and 248 from travellers returning from abroad. The MoPH recorded 659 recoveries from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 173,257. The Ministry announced nine new deaths, aged 44, 45, 53, 59, 60, 65, 70, 76 and 83 years old, seven of which had a history of chronic disease. All were receiving the necessary medical care.
