
MoPH reports 194 cases, 126 recoveries

The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) reported today 194 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), 126 of these were from community cases and 68 from travelers returning from abroad. The MOPH recorded 389 recoveries from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 214,020. Also, the ministry recorded two new deaths aged 46 and 51, one of whom was chronically ill and received necessary medical care. The MOPH issued a statement on COVID-19 developments in Qatar, which said the following: New Cases and Recoveries: - 194 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were announced today. 126 of these were from community cases and 68 from travelers returning from abroad. - 389 people have recovered from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 214,020. - The ministry recorded two new deaths aged 46 and 51, one of whom was chronically ill and received necessary medical care. National COVID-19 Vaccination Program Data: - 2,600,344 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered since the start of the program. - 25,652 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the past 24 hours. - 64.8 percent of the eligible population has now received at least one dose of the vaccine. - 92.8 percent of over 60s (the most vulnerable population group) have been vaccinated with at least one dose, while 86 percent have received both doses.More Related News
