Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced the official working hours for its various service and security departments to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery to the public.

The General Directorate of Passports & Nationality and Travel Documents Department at headquarters will operate from 7am to 12.30pm and from 1pm to 6pm. The General Directorate of Traffic at headquarters will open its doors earlier, starting at 6.30am until 1pm, with evening operations continuing from 1pm to 6pm.

Similarly, the Criminal Evidence & Information Department will operate from 6.30am to 1pm. Its Fingerprints Section, which caters to companies in the Industrial Area, will follow the same schedule with additional evening hours from 1pm to 6pm. For departments of a security nature and traffic investigation stations, services are available around the clock (24/7) to address urgent and emergency needs.

The MoI emphasized that these schedules aim to enhance public access to services while maintaining efficiency across all departments. Citizens and residents are encouraged to plan their visits according to the timings of the specific department they wish to access.
