Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announces the launch of the Social Responsibility Project for Private Schools and Kindergartens, which provides an educational contribution to the community totaling 2,939 educational seats offered by private schools and kindergartens.
This project aims to enhance equality in educational opportunities, support deserving families, and enable students at various levels to enroll in high-quality and specialized education.
The project includes a variety of seats: free seats, discounted seats, free seats designated for students with disabilities, and seats valued at the amount of educational vouchers for Qatari students, in addition to entirely free evening education periods offered by some participating schools.
The available curricula vary, including British, Indian, American, and National curricula, with emphasis that all granted seats are sustainable and continue with the student until graduation.
Regarding the eligibility criteria, the Ministry has set clear standards to ensure that support reaches those who deserve it. For the free seats, the family income must not exceed QR10,000.
