A hiker in Missouri was injured Saturday after being shot by a hunter who mistook him for a turkey, according to authorities.
"A hunter accidentally shot a hiker, thinking he was a turkey," wrote the St. Charles County Police Department on Facebook. Rescue crews used a utility-task vehicle to reach the injured man, who was airlifted to an area trauma center in serious condition, Kyle Gaines, a spokesman for the St. Charles County Ambulance District, told KSDK of St. Louis.More Related News
