Ministry to launch 'Back to school' campaign Tuesday

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education is set to launch on Tuesday its annual "Back to school" campaign for the school year 2021/2022 in cooperation with Your Health First by Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar, adopting the motto "With knowledge we build Qatar".
The campaign will target the kindergarten and primary schools' pupils on a weekly basis. A team from the employees of the Public Relations and Communication Department at the Ministry will cooperate to distribute gifts on a number of schools this week. The campaign aims at endearing school life and learning to children and vitalizes them, driving them to be active participants in the learning process throughout the school day.
Omar al-Yafei, director of the department, stressed that the Ministry is keen to launch this initiative annually. However, it used to be held at the shopping centers previously but this year due to the applicable preventive precautionary measures against the new coronavirus (Covid-19), the Ministry limited the event to distributing gifts on the pupils at schools and kindergartens.
