The Department of Da'wah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs organised an introductory forum for the Takalam website to teach Arabic to non-native speakers, via the Islamweb website.

The Department of Da'wah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs organised an introductory forum for the Takalam website to teach Arabic to non-native speakers, via the Islamweb website, with the participation of 36 scholarship students from the Religious Studies Institute, within the framework of introducing the electronic programmes and applications that Islamweb provides for its users across the world.

Head of the Islamic Network Section (Islamweb) Omar Farouq Al Rahmani said that the forum aimed to familiarise the participating students with Takalam and its application, how to use and benefit from it, and the role of the Islamweb website in enriching knowledge and serving Muslims and non-Muslims on the Internet, as it attracts a large number of followers and visitors.

He added that the forum also included an introductory session and a practical workshop presented by a researcher in the Islamic Network Section Dr. Ismail Bakr. The participants were introduced to Islamweb's role in enriching reliable Islamic content on the Internet in multiple languages, distinguishing it from other Islamic websites around the world. This increased the number of followers and visitors in recent years, reaching hundreds of thousands daily in its Arabic and other languages website. He then moved on to talk about "Takalam", the website for non-Arabic speakers, introducing it and its importance, and its expected role in presenting the Arabic language smoothly and easily, so that it is accessible to everyone, as well as reviewing the application accompanying the site, and its features and quality services.

For his part, Head of the Scholarship Student Affairs Khaled Walid Al Hammadi praised the role and importance of the Islamweb website in enriching Muslims with knowledge, and the qualitative leap it achieved for visitors and those interested in accessing the Arabic language and its rules in a comprehensive, easy and encouraging ways to learn it and benefit from its tools. He noted that the forum added to the students a good introductory outcome, which would help them learn the Arabic language.
