Ministry of Awqaf calls for sighting of Shawwal Crescent on Tuesday

The Committee said whoever witnesses the crescent should head to the headquarters of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Dafna (Towers) area to report his testimony.

The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has called on all Muslims living in Qatar to sight the crescent of Shawwal on Tuesday, Ramadan 29,1442 AH, corresponding to May 11, 2021. The Committee said whoever witnesses the crescent should head to the headquarters of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Dafna (Towers) area to report his testimony. The Committee will meet immediately after the Maghrib (sunset) prayer on the same day.
