Minister of Social Development and Family wins social responsibility award The Arab Council for Social Responsibility (ACSR), in partnership with the League of Arab States (LAS), has awarded HE the Minister of Social Development and Family Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser al-Misnad the Arab Women Award for Social Responsibility. This came during the fourth edition of the Arab Women's Conference for Social Responsibility held in Cairo under the title 'Creativity, Innovation, Development between Leadership and Digitisation'. HE the Minister received the honour, which was done remotely, in recognition of her effective role in the field of human development and the promotion of community building, as well as empowering people with disabilities and contributing to awareness and strengthening the protection of the rights of these groups. The ACSR, a member of the United Nations Global Compact, is a platform for community development in the Arab region and the exchange of experiences in this field. It comprises a number of partners at the national, regional and international levels.
