Minister hails workers' role in Qatar's renaissance

HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment Abdulla bin Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Subaie congratulated workers of the ministry on the occasion of International Workers' Day, which falls on May 1 every year. HE the Minister thanked all workers in the various sectors, departments and municipalities of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) for their sincere work to serve the MME, as well as the renaissance of Qatar in general, during a speech he delivered through visual communication technology. He valued their distinguished efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic, stressing the need to continue adherence to all precautionary measures to preserve their health and safety, and wishing them continued success. In co-operation with Ooredoo, the MME honoured a number of public cleaners and gardeners at the ministry, in appreciation of their efforts and participation in various events in the country, in the presence of a number of officials of the ministry and the company.
