Milipol Qatar 2022 kicks start at DECC

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani inaugurated the exhibition.
While featuring innovations in homeland security and safety Milipol Qatar 2022 started on Tuesday at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) where it’s attended by more than 220 exhibitors from 22 countries from Europe, the Middle East, North America and Asia.
The exhibition was opened by HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani. Accompanied by HE the Minister of Defence HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohammad al-Attiyah, senior officials from the Ministry of Interior (MoI), ambassadors and other dignitaries, the Prime Minister toured the pavilions.
In the 14th edition of Milipol, 60% of the total exhibitors are participating for the first time. The exhibiting companies participating for the first time come from Australia, Canada, Cyprus, Croatia, Finland, India, the Netherlands and Slovakia. The exhibition also includes pavilions representing France, Germany, Italy and Austria. Some 99 Qatari companies are part of the exhibition while various MoI departments including the General Directorate of Traffic, System Security Department and Civil Defence are showcasing their latest innovations in their pavilions. To be run until May 26, the exhorted will also witness signing of several agreements between Qatar and international entities.
