Miley Cyrus knows that touring isn’t for her.
The “Flowers” singer spoke about why she’s no longer going on the road in a new interview with “Good Morning America,” released on Tuesday.
“I do have the physical ability and I have the opportunities to tour. I wish I had the desire, but I don’t,” the Grammy winner shared, adding that there isn’t a good infrastructure that can support entertainers like her.
“There’s artists like Prince that are not here today that lived such a high-intensity lifestyle out on the road,” she explained. “And it’s really hard to maintain sobriety when you’re on the road, which is a really important, kind of, pillar of stability in my life.”
In addition to her sobriety, Cyrus also spoke about the mental mind games that performing can create in someone.
The actor told CBS how he and Reiner connected over their experiences parenting a child with substance use disorder in a recent tribute.
