The AI chatbot, integrated directly into Instagram's messaging platform, became available to users in Qatar on September 6, 2024, as part of Meta's phased global rollout.
Powered by Meta's advanced Llama 3.1 language model, the assistant - known simply as "Meta AI" - brings a range of AI capabilities to one of the world's most popular social media platforms.
