A man in his 30s has been arrested after a woman and police officer were stabbed Sunday afternoon.
The woman was stabbed near Bellevue Avenue and College Street just before 1 p.m., Toronto Police Service (TPS) said on social media.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived but was later located near Lakeshore Boulevard and Remembrance Drive, police said.
Police say the man jumped into a lake and stabbed an officer before he was arrested.
The woman and the officer were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. And TPS is investigating the incident.
