Colorado authorities have identified the 10 people killed at a Boulder supermarket and vowed to hold accountable the accused gunman, charging him with 10 counts of murder in Monday's rampage.
The 21-year-old accused gunman, Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, was charged with 10 counts of murder in the first degree, Police Chief Maris Herold said. He was being treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound, and Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty expected him to be transferred to a jail later Tuesday. The district attorney said he believed the suspect acted alone and that the community was safe.
