KTR reviews arrangements for BRS meeting at Elkathurthy, urges for enthusiastic participation

BRS prepares for Silver Jubilee celebrations with KTR leading arrangements for large-scale public meeting on April 27.

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao, along with several senior party leaders, inspected the arrangements for the party’s upcoming Silver Jubilee celebrations at Elkathurthy near here on Wednesday. The leaders accompanying KTR included Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash, Leader of the Opposition in the Council S. Madhusudhana Chary, former Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, former MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar and others.

The BRS is set to mark its foundation day with a large-scale public meeting on April 27 in Elkathurthy. After inspecting the arrangements, Mr. Rama Rao called upon party workers and supporters to hoist pink flags in all gram panchayats across the State on April 27. He urged people to enthusiastically participate in the ‘Chalo Warangal’ call and send a clear message against what he described as the ‘anarchic’ rule of the Congress.

KTR said the party has earned the trust of the people and become a symbol of their collective spirit, represented by the pink flag. He noted that despite facing various hardships, people continue to approach Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad, highlighting their continued belief in the party. Comparing the party’s functioning to that of a ‘Janata Garage’, KTR said the BRS was working actively for people from all sections.

He added that extensive arrangements had been made for the public meeting, including parking facilities over 1,000 acres to accommodate 30,000 to 40,000 vehicles without any inconvenience. Additionally, 10 lakh water bottles, buttermilk packets, over 100 medical teams and 20 ambulances are being arranged. Due to concerns over power supply, 200 generators are being arranged, citing a lack of trust in the Congress-led State government’s ability to provide uninterrupted electricity.
