Knicks’ Game 3 report card: Persevered despite Jalen Brunson’s poor night
NY Post
Knicks’ grades from their 106-100 Game 3 win over the Pacers on Sunday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse:
Dealt with foul trouble (again) and rampant poor decisions. He made one clutch shot in the fourth and airballed another. Finished 6-for-18 from the field but 10-for-10 from the line. Knocked down a pair of big free throws with seconds left. But overall, the Knicks won despite their captain.
Strapped on his cape in the fourth quarter and single-handedly saved the Knicks season with 20 of his 24 points in that final period. If KAT hadn’t secured his Knicks moment yet, Sunday night was it.
Active performance while finishing including a big block in the fourth quarter. Scored efficiently with 16 points on just nine shots in 37 minutes.

Suddenly, someone had hit a rewind button and everyone had been transported back seven months. It was early spring instead of late fall, it was broiling hot outside the arena walls and not freezing cold. Everyone was back at TD Garden. There were 19,156 frenzied fans on their feet begging for blood, poised for the kill.
