Knicks continue 3-point parade with historic barrage against Grizzlies
NY Post
Mike Brown has placed a major emphasis on getting the Knicks to shoot more 3-pointers.
His message is being heard — in historic fashion.
The Knicks launched a franchise record 55 3-pointers during their 133-120 win over the Grizzlies on Tuesday night at MSG, making 22 of them — good for a stellar 40.0 percent. And that is with OG Anunoby going 1-for-10 from deep.
The previous record was 54 in a game during the 2021 season.
Jalen Brunson led the way in the department, shooting 6-of-9 on 3’s.
“We’re emphasizing it, but I think the best thing right now is that a lot of them are good shots,” Brunson said. “We may have some end of shot clock shots, but the way we’re getting them is great. We just got to keep generating them the way we are and just keep making advantages for each other.”

The alliance between the Mara Family and the Tisch Family has, by and large, been the gold standard for all such partnership agreements. From the moment Wellington Mara and Robert Tisch entered into their 50-50 arrangement at the top of the Giants’ organizational flow chart on Feb. 21, 1991, this has been a model affiliation.
