Two radio hosts got a rude awakening after asking a rude question.
Country music star Keith Urban swiftly cut off a live Zoom interview Tuesday with the Australian radio show Mix 102.3’s “Hayley & Max in the Morning” after its hosts, Hayley Peterson and Max Burford, asked a pretty gross question about Urban’s wife, Nicole Kidman.
The “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer seemed pretty jovial during the interview, but about four minutes in, Burford asked Urban if he wanted to play a game called “Wall of Truth,” in which the hosts ask their guest a “very tricky … deeply personal question.”
Peterson, for her part, said she felt “really uncomfortable” asking Urban the question, so Burford swooped in and asked:
“What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV?”Kidman and Efron played love interests in the Netflix comedy “A Family Affair” last year.
BD Wong called his comment a "very bad joke" and admitted it was unacceptable for him to try and "explain" away his offensive remark.
