The memorial has been built to commemorate the Gandhian and freedom fighter who organised the 1924 Belgaum Congress session that was chaired by Mahatma Gandhi.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated the Gangadhar Deshpande’s Memorial Bhavan and Photo Gallery at Ramatirtha Nagar in Belagavi on December 26 as part of the ‘Gandhi Bharata’ celebrations.
The memorial has been built to commemorate the Gandhian and freedom fighter who organised the 1924 Belgaum Congress session that was chaired by Mahatma Gandhi.
