Jordan Klepper Shares 1 Way MAGA Has Changed Since Trump's First Term

The "Daily Show" correspondent has covered numerous MAGA rallies and demonstrations since President Donald Trump first entered politics.
“Daily Show” correspondent Jordan Klepper, known for interviewing many of President Donald Trump’s staunchest supporters for his man-on-the-street segments over the years, says they’ve changed in one significant way between his first and second terms, telling People in an interview published Friday that it started “right after the inauguration” last year.
The change, he said, is “the lack of defensiveness from the MAGA faithful.”
“There had always been a trepidation in some of these conversations about some of the crueler, more aggressive actions taken by a Trump administration that, in the first few election cycles, sometimes as I’d press in MAGA, there would be a defensiveness there,” he said.
“And usually, they would find something else to talk about in this new wave with the fact that he won this election, and was pardoning J6ers, and taking these aggressive actions,” Klepper continued, but adding MAGA is no longer “hiding their intentions” — but “celebrating.”
Trump launched mass deportations after retaking office in January, deployed U.S. troops to several major cities to combat the purported “bedlam” of crime and is launching deadly strikes against alleged drug smugglers in Caribbean and Pacific waters.
