John Mara has been there for the Giants — they want to return the favor with season finale win
NY Post
The games are the games, but it is during the week, the daily grind, when players especially notice who is there with them and who is not.
Those who get paid to go on the field for the Giants have always noticed John Mara is there for them and with them, day in and day out.
“It’s a great feeling,” left tackle Andrew Thomas told The Post. “You can tell he cares about this place, there’s a lot of legacy with his family, it means a lot to him, and it’s not just his words, it’s his actions. He’s there, a lot of owners don’t commit that much. We definitely appreciate that.”
There is something quite different for Thomas, in his sixth year with the Giants, and everyone else who goes to work at the team facility.
