Jimmy Butler wants out of Miami with Heat listening to trade offers
NY Post
Jimmy Butler’s days with the Heat appear to be numbered.
The six-time All-Star prefers to be traded away from the team ahead of the Feb. 6 deadline, according to ESPN.
The Heat are willing to listen to trade offers for Butler, the outlet added.
Butler, 35, is on the books for $49 million this year with a $52 million player option for next year.
Potential suitors have been informed that Butler intends to decline that option in order to become a free agent, per the report.
Multiple teams have reportedly already reached out to the Heat, and Butler is open to the Suns, Warriors, Mavericks and Rockets among others.

SALT LAKE CITY — It’s easy to forget about the quiet, which in Knicks World means Leon Rose. We’re approaching five years — amazingly — since the team president answered questions from the independent media, and I’ve always maintained that’s poor practice because it avoids responsibility. If there’s no public explanation behind a move or a goal, there’s no accountability if it doesn’t work out.
