Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) initially held back when CNN’s Jake Tapper said she could cuss about House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) ― but she eventually caved. (Watch the video below.)
On “The Lead” Monday, Tapper teed up a clip of Johnson claiming he hadn’t tried to kill a House vote on the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files but was protecting the identities of the victims.
“What’s your response to that?” Tapper asked.
“I would cuss, but I’m not going to,” she replied. “I’m just going to say he’s full of it. Number one—”
“This is cable. You can cuss,” Tapper interrupted. Crockett laughed.
