Ramallah: The Israeli occupation forces burned Sunday several homes in the Nur Shams camp, east of Tulkarm.
The Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA) said that the occupation forces burned a number of homes in the Manshiyya neighborhood of the camp, amid a tight siege and ongoing aggression for the 162nd consecutive day.
WAFA added that infantry squads, which have been using Palestinian homes as military barracks after forcing residents to evacuate, are firing live ammunition at anyone who attempts to approach the camp.
In recent weeks, the Nur Shams camp has been subjected to extensive demolition operations that have affected dozens of residential buildings, as part of an Israeli plan to demolish 106 buildings in Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps.
In a related context, Israeli bulldozers continued their demolition operations in Tulkarm camp, which began last week, at a rapid pace, targeting more residential buildings.
